While a smart gown is an absolute must, it’s advisable to opt for designs and fabrics suitable for chilly fall weather. Ditch the silks and ciffon and go for thicker materials such as velour or wool. A pretty velvet mini dress, combined with some black ankle boots a fancy clutch bag and some glamorous jewelry is an excellent, timeless choice, that is sure to bring you lots of compliments!

Large family gatherings are more relaxed than office parties but you should still aim to look your best!
