Stylish outfits for rainy days
I actually really enjoy a rainy day every now and then, as I already told you in this blogpost. Especially a walk in the rain can be super fun. Beside lovely umbrellas, there are a few other accessories that make a walk in the rain even better. So in the following, I am going to share my favourite stylish outfits for rainy days with you.
How to create stylish Outfits for rainy Days
Before I am going to show you some outfit ideas, I will share a few styling and accessory tips with you.
- An umbrella is a must on a rainy day, obviously. But instead of choosing a boring one, I recommend to go for a stylish umbrella with cool prints or details.
- Depending on how heavy the rain is, an umbrella might not be enough to stay dry. In this case, I recommend a rain coat. Elements Rainwear, for example offers some great and very stylish ones.
- Of course, rubber boots are the best kind of shoes on rainy days. There are even some very stylish ones available, like these ones with leopard print*, for example! Nevertheless, rubber boots are not always appropriate. I mean, we can’t go to the office with them, can we? So a great and very elegant alternative are (faux) patent leather shoes*. They are super easy to clean and look very good.

For heavy Rainfalls: A Rain Jackets and a retro Dress
I wore this outfit consisting of a pink retro dress, flat shoes, sheer tights as well as a rain jacket on my roadtrip through Scotland. Quite a good choice, as it was super rainy on that day, as you can see in the pictures. 😉

A stylish Latex Rain Coat

A great Team: Rubber Boots and Trench Coat
I absolutely love to go out for a walk in the rain wearing rubber boots! I always have so much fun leaping over and into the puddles. Wear your boots with a classy trench coat, a pretty umbrella as well as some dark tights and you look super stylish while walking trough the mud. 🙂

A stylish retro Outfit for rainy Days: A pink Dress and matching Accessoires
Some pops of colours are always great on gloomy, rainy days. I especially love bright colours, such as pink, on these days. A classy trench coat on top of a pink retro dress as well as some colour-matching accessories are a wonderful choice, I think.

Perfect for rainy Spring Days: A Flower Dress and matching Umbrella
On rainy spring days, I like to wear flower dresses to stay in spring mood and raise my spirits. A matching umbrella with a cherrryblossom design is also a good idea. 🙂
