I was offered this loan from Kovack Mechanical for a new HVAC unit. I have been trying to dispute a discrepancy between the total amount borrowed and the balance due for the past month. They have me owing them $1,000 more than I do. I was told that a complaint would have to be filed and another representative would be assigned to my case. I have called numerous times only to be told that the person in charge of my case is not available, and they do not know the status; all they can do is send him an email. I have emailed him a copy of the contract and have followed up with several emails. No response. I have also called the contractor, and they tell me they do not know why this happened because the payoff amount they received from Service Finance LLC does not match what they billed for. I am very frustrated with the handling of my complaint.

If I could give no stars, I would. We financed a central air unit through Issacs Heating and Air Conditioning. We received the billing statement for the amount of $4,486, which we paid in full. We then received another bill for $46.47, which they say is interest, despite our payment in full before the next billing cycle. They refused to waive the interest. I will never do business with them again. Instead of a thank you for such a large payment, all I got was a statement saying I owe $46.47. Louis, who is a supervisor, was very condescending and sarcastic. "Let me read what it says on the back of the contract," he said. "We won't close the contract until you pay the amount owed; it will stay open." This is terrible customer service.

Call the company after receiving a letter of notice about a proposed UCC-1 on my property because the account was 32 days late. A UCC-1, no joke! Wait time was over 15 minutes. The lady was not helpful. No management was available to take the call or explain the details. Stay away from this company!

This company should be reported to the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Every single customer should receive a full refund and have their balance canceled out. They don't send statements out and expect you to pay a late fee. Today's excuse was the post office. They don't deserve a rating; it would be a negative number.

My payments are due on the 15th. I scheduled my payments on the 1st. Some of my payments processed a couple of days earlier, so the scam is that the payment was processed as going to principal, and then my next payment was considered late, so they charged me a late fee. I wonder how many people they do this to.

I never receive my statement on time and they want me to pay a late fee. I refuse. Today they used the excuse, the post office is having problems. I am so frustrated with them. The company that did our siding was not experienced and the siding keeps falling apart.

I qualified for a loan contract through them at the end of January. I have sent numerous emails and called several times to get a copy of my contract, but I have received nothing. Their website gives me an error message that says, "Contact customer service", but customer service has no record of this. I can't get a human on the phone ever. It's an absolutely ridiculous company.

This company is evil. I had outstanding loan for $9,400 and I paid it three weeks early. However, I accidentally underpaid it by $30 and they immediately sent it to collections. That cost me 121 points on my credit score. As a senior, this is very injurious for our modest means. I tried to plead with these heartless people—why would I try to skimp on a $9,400 loan by $30?

PREDATORY - do NOT use. They will offer you a 12-month promo period that entices you to take the loan, but then they retroactively apply a 17.99% interest rate if you don't pay the loan in full within 12 months. So it's NOT a 0% loan (which is what your contractor will tell you); it's an 18% deferred-interest loan with retroactive application.

I would leave this company no stars if I could. Yet, it's not completely their fault. They are the sharks; the company you really need to look at is the one who fed you to them. I called the company that led me to this. So, if you've been had by this vicious cycle, leave a bad review for the company that directed you to them. That's how you put these people out of business. Companies will stop using them. But hey, we live and we learn.

Total ripoff. The total loan was approximately 7k. I paid 1000 for the first payment, but because it was a few days late, they said the benefits were gone and reverted to the full 25ish percent interest rate. Never received any terms and conditions in writing, ever.

This company is a scam and will steal your money. The interest rate is exceedingly high. How do they expect you to pay off the amount when barely anything is applied to the balance? They don't inform you until you receive your paperwork in the mail.

They wouldn't cancel my loan after I already canceled my construction project. I canceled a contract for roof solar with Solar Max Inc. by email on the 2nd day and by written on 3rd business day (5th day including weekends) which was instructed by the solar company representative, but badly Solar Max would not reply me. Solar Max's representative asked my SSN number for credit verification purpose, but actually they cheated me as they already set down a loan with SFC on me. SFC emailed me a link for a loan document and asked me to sign, I NEVER replied and opened that link. I called SFC to cancel and emailed them all my cancellation files and email communications, but they would not cancel while insisting that only contractor can request it due to that I passed my 3-day right (actually I did not do anything wrong for the cancellation). They would not even send me a loan document which I requested. It is so weird or unethical that they chose to be blind on my documents instead hooking me there, regardless that I never agreed, never be aware or informed, and never signed SFC's email document, to use them as my loaner.

I tried to find my account number in the paperwork from setting up the loan without any success. The first bill I received from Service Finance was a notice that I was 17 days past due. I set up the payment with my bank to pay the bill and counted back 17 days to set up all additional automatic payments to the same address. two days later I got a bill for the next month telling me my payment was due 3 days from when I received the bill. No time to change the payment to be sent or move the date for the next payment since the bill came with 3 days to make the payment. The company claims to send its bills 15 days ahead of the due date, but they mail them too late to get the letter before the due date. When I called the phone number given on the papers, the response was that they could not complete my call. The only action left is to join the host of people reporting them to BBB.

This inefficiently run company made 3 different credit inquiries on my account. It dropped my score 13 points! I had a consistent score of 812-820. I also had to ask for payment information 2 times. Not very professional.

You can set up AutoPay for your Service Finance Company personal loan through your online account. You can find the option in the payments section, and you will need to provide the routing number and the account number for the account from which the funds will be withdrawn each month.
